Break through GFW

Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia , has been blocked by the PRC government since its birth, the Great Firewall of China(GFW) also possesses a bad reputation in the youth in China. Let mind stretch out of some fixed place is always the inclination of young people, I guess.

It is the first time for me to see the real face of Wiki, a little bit exciting either. Occasionally, I knocked into "memedia" yesterday, and guided be his post's link, found the way to downloaded Tor, setup it, then, I am here now, simply and quickly. Most of professional recommend to combine Fox browser with Tor, and I found the performance of Flock with Tor is also OK.

The problem is you have no way to download some related softwares in China, an alternative way is to input English key words to search engine, such as putting "Tor download" into Google , you will get clue to find the right place, and then you are going to find more resources and have more choice while your breaking through "the wall" .In fact, everyone can find several ways to break through "the Great Wall" from internet, that's the charming of internet!

A report says,"China’s Internet-filtering regime is the most sophisticated effort of its kind in the world. Compared to similar efforts in other states, China’s filtering regime is pervasive, sophisticated and effective." Is that true? I do not know, and just believe: to guide is better than to block. However, government has its unique to understand our people, its doctrine is to prevent trivial leak to stop big collapse? I do not know which one is better, but do believe the GFW will become a history sooner or later.

A glance at Flock

Having been using IE for a long time and definitely disapointed by IE7.0's performance. These days I had no way to stand IE's vulnerability and tyranny and began to try others yesterday , have tried Opera, Maxthon , Flock and Avant.

Opera’s speed is great, however, exactly not convenient to open some webpages sometimes, sorry to say, I even failed to upload pictures wile posting My Chinese Blog when my trying Opera and Maxthon, which definitely let me down. Avant is ideal, simple and stable .

Have to mention, have just heard a little about Flock before, amatuer? yeah. T he speed of Flock is not good compared to Maxthon, Opera and Avant, I gave up to try it at first, anyway, speed is important to me, to everyone, I guess, and finally chose Flock due to the rate of errors of Opera and Maxthon.

"Flock lets you bring all your friends and contacts together from across a variety of different social networking websites. Then, keeping in touch with your entire social network is easier, more efficient and more fun than ever before!" Even though I have pay no attention to any kind of advertisement, hope Shawn Hardin is telling a real story. Up to now, the feeling of experience tells good news for me, I like Flock.

Flock makes my Blogger,Flickr, YouTube and del.icio.us together, that's fantastic. However, my problem is whether my friends will accept it as their browser? If so, Flock will allow us contact effectively. The other problem is my failing to post my entry on my current blog sphere by Flock's blog editor, and some web pages cannot be viewed correctly either, so I download a plungin: IE tab, and hope it work. Finally, language is also a obstacle, waiting for Chinese version of Flock. Now, I have two browser: Avant and Flock.

Flock version 1.o is now available to download from here . To post this is to test Flock, and thanks for Flock's innovative job.
